Many left this life at the Tyburn Tree. They remain, in many respects, second class citizens in the United Kingdom today. In calling for an end to "old suspicions ... and a greater mutual trust," H.M. the Queen, in her welcoming remarks, differentiated between the established Churches of England and Scotland and the Roman Catholic Church. These are the churches, among others, that Father Jamison is referring to when he rightly speaks of a "multi-faith society." <br /><br />He is not guilty of religious indifferentism, but simply acknowledging the unfortunate divisions among Christians. <br /><br />We should pray and work toward the unity for which our Lord prayed.
